Summary

In 1950, Helen Brach married into the famous Brach candy business family. After her husband died in 1970, Helen was worth over 30 million dollars. She spent her time helping to save animals and created the Helen V Brach foundation in 1974. In February 1977, Helen flew to Minnesota for a comprehensive checkup with her physician. She was scheduled to fly back to her home in Chicago but she vanished. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the disappearance of Helen Brach. There have been a number of theories that have been raised over the years. Helen's butler, Jack Matlick, told a number of things to investigators that were contradicted by others, including his own wife. Richard Bailey was a known con-man who became involved with Helen after her husband's death. Many believe that he had a hand in Helen's ultimate fate.
