The story spilled in American campuses in the spring of 2024

and it's led to great disorder and the elite universities and others.

What is to be done?

I welcome Cliff May, the founder and president, the foundation for the defensive democracies, whose new column in the Washington Times

does the heavy lifting of giving context and history to the young people, all of whom know the BBC version of the Hamas version of the

Gaza conflict. Cliff a very good evening to you.

Congratulations for writing this history with the chronology, with the details.

We both know there's a much richer story to be found when you investigate,

such as the Mufti of Jerusalem sitting next to Adolf Hitler,

that picture alone requires an education.

However, what I found in your column was helpful was the Hebron massacre of 1929.

I walked those roads over broken glass at another Palestinian attack in these last

decades and I walked the broken glass and thought, what happened here?

It was a massacre against the Jews by the then Ottoman empires Palestinians

who were at that point being provided police of power by the British mandate, the

British Empire. That moment crystallized it for me that the Palestinians represented brutality and

hatred that was generation after generation passed down.

And so in finishing a column, I was reminded
