There are many depths to the heart, and I want you to settle in with me right now, because

I believe if you stick to the end, it will help us to tap into those parts of our heart

that we may have neglected or forgotten. Because our heart is the emotional home where love,

trust and joy live. You know, I always say it's our treasure, and just like any treasure or

anything of value, anything you find precious. What do we do with it? We protect it. We protect it.

You wouldn't just let anybody walk into your home and just take your things, would you? No.

A lot of us have cameras outside our houses, don't we? That's how much we value our home.

And the same goes for your heart. You know, there's an ancient proverb that goes like this. Above

all else, guard your heart for everything you do flows from it. You know, simple. I love a simple

bar, a simple proverb, and beautiful, and this is simply highlighting the importance of protecting

your emotional and your spiritual space. It's sacred. Because some people in our life,

they're like visitors who only show up when they need something, validation, emotional support,

a favor. You know, they come, they play around, they get what they want, they have their fun.

But then what? They're gone. Until the next time they want something, you know what we

talking about right now. And it's as if they treat your heart as a hit stop rather than a gentle

home, a gentle home. I call these people opportunists. You know, you can call them energy vampires.

And I'm sure we've all experienced it at least one time in our life. Some of us may be these

people as well. And it's something we need to work on. But every human being, what do we desire?

What do we require? It's connection. And unfortunately, our basic yet so beautiful, essential

desire, need for genuine bonds are sometimes misused by those who don't value true connection.

A real connection, the real connection comes when someone wants to be there, wants to be there

with you, not just when it's convenient or beneficial for them. You know, back in the day,
