The Tiger fans headed into a big weekend, shall I say, a huge weekend up coming here.

It's going to be an early start at legendary Tiger Stadium,

but it's going to be the only top 25 matchup in the SEC this weekend,

and it's number 8 Tennessee coming to town to take on your fighting tigers

who cracked into the top 25 this week at number 25.

Here on Hearing Voices, it's a chance to talk to some of the voices that bring college sports alive.

It is really a labor of love for me to get to interview some of the voices that bring college sports alive. It is really a labor of love for me to get

to interview some of the great people that we all listen to, whether it be television or radio,

and it is a thrill to have on for the first time on our little show, a true legend in our

business, a longtime voice to the volunteers. In fact, 23 years. I know this because I got married in 1999. And having

grown up in the state of Kentucky, I was very aware of what happens in Knoxville. And our guest

this week, Bob Kessling, became the voice of the Vols. Wasn't his first association with Tennessee,

which we'll get into, but it's great to

have Bob on the show.
