Today, after almost a century of trying, health insurance reform becomes law in the United States of America.

Tonight I am also calling on this Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Unbelievable complex subject. Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated.

If you like the plan you have, you can keep it.

If you like the doctor you have, you can keep it. If you like the doctor you have, you can keep your doctor too.

What we're all looking for is the lowest cost way to make sure everybody gets covered.

In America today, one of the leading cause of bankruptcy for American families is the inability to pay a hospital bill.

That's just simply wrong.

The function of a

rational health care system is to provide health care to all people in a cost-effective way.

I think Medicare for all is one of the possible paths. I think the fastest way to get there

is to ensure that people who have insurance that they like through their employer

are able to keep it. The Republican Party will soon be known as the party of health care.

We can start with Medicare for all who want it by making some version of Medicare available

on the exchanges for people to opt into as part of the pathway to Medicare for all.
