Summary

It is impossible to go through life without suffering some sort of brokenness. Thankfully, we do not have to endure the pain all alone; Jesus died for broken people. He went to the cross for us so that we could be healed from this state, and move on with our lives. Relationships play a major part in the healing God wants to bring us. Not only does His presence restore broken relationships, but He also heals us emotionally through new relationships we form with other believers. Although true wholeness can only be found through Jesus Christ, God uses human care and ministry to assist us on our journey. This is how He heals our broken hearts.

Enjoy the message. Before I read our first scripture, I want to look at some of the definitions

0:22.3

that we have used to define brokenness, and we'll talk about how to get healed from it today,

0:29.2

and spend our time on that. So we started off defining true brokenness as a tube by which God brings

0:38.0

His wandering sheep back into His loving arms, and that brokenness is having been fractured,

0:49.0

or damaged, or no longer in one piece, or it literally means fractured or broken, or not in

0:56.7

working order. We also looked at brokenness as flawed condition of humanity, not just

1:03.8

particular people, but a flawed condition of humanity that creates a tendency or propensity

1:09.7

for people to hurt themselves, and then at the same time hurt other people. And I made a statement

1:17.7

that you will not be able to make progress above the level of your unresolved brokenness. You can't

1:23.7

allow the brokenness that happened when you were eight, continue to live in your life today

1:32.8

when you're 40, so that's so very important. We also defined brokenness as the fundamental

1:43.2

disorder that exists in creations that affects a person's relationship, and it affects a person's

1:50.6

behavior. In other words, we talked about brokenness as being a fundamental disorder that came as a

1:58.5

result of the disorder that Satan calls in the Garden of Eden. And you know, you may be healed of

2:06.1

brokenness right now. You may not be going through it, but sometime in your life, you've had to

2:11.2

deal with that. And there may be some times in the future you're having to deal with that. I mean,

2:17.2

dealing with this coronavirus is one of those areas that a lot of people have suffered fracture.

2:26.8

And things have happened as a result of this emotionally, some of them in physically, some people

2:34.0

have passed on. But now it's time to talk about how do we get healed from that? It's time to talk
