And today I've invited back Lisa Jo Baker.

We're going to talk about healing friendship wounds.

And as part of that conversation, here's a little clip of Lisa talking about when friendships

are not producing the fruit of the Spirit.

But I do think that there is space in a friendship when we see it has become too unhealthy for each

of us to keep growing toward Christ.

If we find ourselves growing away from Him in the sense that we are experiencing anger,

comparison or jealousy or competition or bitterness, none of those are the fruit of

the Spirit.

So a friendship that's only breeding those things cannot possibly be a healthy friendship.

And so creating space for the Holy Spirit to step back in.

So for me, it's sometimes been learning that if I step back, I'd create more space for

the Spirit to step in and allow Him to do that work.

You know, at the end of the day, that isn't my job.

It's not my responsibility.

My job is to love the best I can.

And if that is not bearing fruit to step back so that the Holy Spirit can come and do his

job because he is much, much better at it than me.

What chances are if you've lived on this planet long enough, whether it was in your childhood,

through your family or even into adulthood, you have some friendship wounds.

And unfortunately, the enemy loves to use those to drag us down, to not allow us to live
