0:43.4	In 2018, Donald Smith was found guilty in the eight-year-old girl's murder,

0:49.8	Attorney for Smith appealed the conviction,
0:51.6	saying the trial should have been moved out of Duval County.

1:03.6	recently back in court, but let's start back at the beginning. First off, tell me about eight-year-old
1:09.9	Cherish Perry Winkle. So eight-year-old cherish Perry Winkle.
1:11.2	So eight-year-old Cherish Perry Winkle went missing. She was shopping with her mother and her two
1:17.8	little sisters. They were approached and eventually sort of hounded by a man named Donald Smith
1:24.8	at a Dollar General, and then he kind of picked them up and took him to a
1:29.3	Walmart, promising to buy clothes. Cherish was the daughter of, you know, some troubled parents.
