I'm Mama Jules and I'm traveling for Thanksgiving, snuggling my absolutely perfect

newborn grandson in Arizona. So if you're

watching this on YouTube, that's why this looks so different. I'm just quickly recording in a hotel

room since my daughter and her husband live in a very small on-campus apartment at my son-in-law's

med school. So recording there is not a possibility. So here we are

in the hotel room. You might see Q behind me on the couch. She'll probably make an appearance.

Hopefully she won't bark. So like I said, I'm in Arizona and we're starting out today's

podcast with a story out of Arizona. Peoria, to be specific, ironically, just down the road

from this hotel. And in Peoria, over the last 18 months, tensions have simmered over a hazing

scandal at Liberty High School. So let's start with the reopening of an investigation that happened in August of this year.

And then we'll chat about the civil suits that have now been filed.

Because more than a year ago, school district officials and the Peoria Police Department

opened investigations into allegations of sexualized hazing, both in the wrestling room

and during an out-of-town wrestling

trip at Peoria's Liberty High. Videos of at least two incidents were allegedly sent to the

police last year. According to the police report obtained by ABC 15, one video depicted a wrestler

getting on top of a teammate, allegedly placing his crotch and

genitalia in the boy's face and repeatedly moving up and down. Another video allegedly showed
