Hey everybody, I'm Beth Davis. Welcome back to Teachable Tuesday. Thanks for joining me for John Chapter 21. That means today's the last day of our Gospel of John Bible study.

We did it.

Can you believe that?

We made it all the way through the gospel.

Maybe this was your first time reading the gospel, and I just want to celebrate that with you.

You read the story of Jesus, and seeds were planted that God himself will bring to fruition.

Friends, let's pray and let's read. We'll hear the voice of the Lord through this gospel today. That's what we're all about on Teachable Tuesday,

discovering God's heart and applying his word to our lives. In the name of the Father and of

the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Come, Holy Spirit.

We want to be changed by your word, Lord.

John 21.

After these things, Jesus showed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberius,

and he showed himself in this way. Gathered there together were Simon Peter, Thomas, called the

twin, Nathaniel of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two of his other disciples.

Simon Peter said to them, I am going fishing.

They said to him, we will go with you.

They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

Just after daybreak, Jesus stood on the beach, but the disciples did not know

that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them, children, have you, you have no fish, have you? They answered him,

no. He said to them, cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.

So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in because there were so many fish.

That disciple, whom Jesus loved, said to Peter, it is the Lord.
