Summary

Have you ever been delivered by God from a pit? There is no pit He cannot rescue you from. Many stay in bondage simply because they believe they can’t get out- but YES, YOU CAN. His grace is sufficient, day after day. Beth unpacks Psalm 18 and reminds us that our most powerful instrument is our tongue and that the enemy targets our vulnerabilities. Do we believe God can rescue us from an enemy too powerful for us?

Maybe he's delivering us from a situation that it's just time to move.

It's time to have a fresh walk of faith.

chastisement that we're being moved or delivered. He's just moving us. But then what about the

big things? What about when we come up against something that overpowers us?

I want you to think in terms of that because my guess, I mean, maybe you're my friend,

and you've done it all perfectly.

But my guess is that for most, if not all of us in this room, you can think back over something that has

overpowered you, whether it was a relationship, whether it was a seduction, whether it was

an addiction, whether it was an obsession of some kind. Most of us have been in a situation

because this is very key to the psalmist cry.

Verse 17, he rescued me from my powerful enemy.

It was too powerful for him, from an enemy too powerful for me.

Let me tell you something.

Our enemy, we're told in Ephesians chapter 6 that our enemy is not flesh and blood,

but powers and principalities, rulers authorities in the dark, of the darkness that are out
