All right, so we're beginning a new series called The Good Shepherd. And this is our devotional.

We're going to go through Psalm 23. I'm going to be preaching on it for three weeks,

and we're going to divide it into three parts, and we'll do the first three verses this weekend,

the next two verses next weekend, and then the last verse. It's only six verses, the whole song,

then we'll do the last verse in the last weekend, all right. I just want to remind you

that Jesus, that the Bible calls us sheep. Let me show it to you. Psalm 100 verse three. We are his

people and the sheep of his pasture. And then John TNTN, very famous, but then we're going to look

at verse 11. Verse 10 says, the thief does not come except to steal, kill, and destroy. I've come,

they may have life that they may have it more abundantly. Watch verse 11. I am the Good Shepherd,

which is the name of our series and the name of our devotional. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good

Shepherd gives his life for the sheep. And verse 14, he repeats it. I am the Good Shepherd. Now,

here's what I want to say about this. I'm really glad he's the Good Shepherd since I'm a sheep.

Because sheep, if you don't know, are the dumbest animals alive.

They cannot even feed themselves. Now, hear me, they can eat, but they can't find food.

They have to be led and fed. And you might say, well, I'm not quite following you on that

pastures and the steel waters. So I love Psalm 23. Psalm 23, verse 1. We're just going to read
