Hawks. Normally in this time slot, I say as if there were any kind of regular time slots on the

internet, you would be listening to J-Editant Miles explain the X-Men a weekly podcast all about

the in-douch retcon's clones and time travel of comics greatest superhero soap opera. But um,

that's not what's happening here. Now that podcast is professionally planned and edited and

things like that, this one is not. Uh, that's right. Every fourth week, or at least every fourth week

once again these days, we talk about Hawks, which is to say not X-Men. Uh, we stop doing that for a

while. Um, we have started up again for the time being because back in April, we, uh,

encouraged people to donate to a quality Florida, and a bunch of people did, and certain donation

levels, people got to pick Hawk Talk topics, and so that's what we've been doing.

So who brought us our topic this week? So this week, uh, Generous Donor McArdle Booker

suggested the topic of lawyers and law in stories X and otherwise. And, um, when I first saw this

topic, I thought two things. One, that's a good topic. And two, I don't know anything about that

stuff. When I first saw this topic, I was super excited because it means we're going to get to

talk about my second favorite red, this is wearing trash fire in the Marvel Universe. Um, but

I also realized that I lack expertise in some areas of this. And so we have a guest ornithologist

today that being Lyra Foster, um, who is a real life superhero lawyer, um, and thus an expert

on that Lyra. Thank you so much for joining us. Oh, thank you. Um, and thanks for that description.

uh, pro bono cases and I've done some litigation in the trans right sphere criminal defense.
