Hours after the police launch an assault probe, he walks out of the struggling show,

leaving fans saying his departure is the best news of the year, and the BBC confirm he will not be replaced.

People who worked on the show said they were glad he's gone.

Makes you wonder, really, whether that just how to face the BBC is.

But last night, a spokesman for the BBC?

Declined to comment.

I mean, he has previously admitted exposing himself during meetings of the company.

police spokesman said, an allegation has been made by a woman against a man and relates to
