Now, could you potentially be on birth control without really being aware of it?

0:26.8

Today we're going to discuss soy. Now, what's so bad about soy? I mean, it's a health

0:33.0

food product. It's in a lot of our foods. It's good for the heart. It's good to help prevent

0:39.4

breast cancer. And in Asia, they do tons of soy, right? It can't be that bad. I mean, if

0:45.4

you just look at the research, I mean, you'll see tons of study on the first five pages

0:50.1

of Google endorsing soy as the next miracle food. Well, I want to share some information

0:57.4

from a very interesting book that I'm reading right now. It's called The Whole Soy Story

1:04.2

by Dr. Kayla Daniel. She has her PhD in nutritional sciences, as well as being a certified clinical

1:10.0

nutritionist. So I'm going to put the link for her book down below as well as all the research I'm

1:48.5

You might want to just take another look at what I'm going to share with you. Now, as far as an

1:53.7

Asia, it is true that they consume maybe more soy. However, it's used as a condiment. It's not

2:01.0

used as their main food. And it's usually always in the form of a fermented soy product,

2:07.2

NATO, Miso, Tofu. And they don't actually use the form of soy that we use in America,

2:14.3

like soy protein, isolates, hydrolyze, soy proteins, and the highly refined soy oil,

2:21.7

which is in, oh my gosh, it's in hummus. It's in salad dressing. It's in a lot of your foods.

2:27.5

It's actually even an oatmeal. They put it in sodas. I mean, it is like all over our foods.

2:33.3

Now, it is true that the Japanese have a lower rate of breast cancer. However, they have a higher rate
