IN THIS EPISODE: The building that stood at 44 Licking Pike in Wilder, Kentucky, witnessed more death and violence than most structures see in several lifetimes. From its origins as a slaughterhouse where animal blood drained into a deep well, through decades of mob violence and mysterious deaths, to its final incarnation as Bobby Mackey's Music World --- a honky-tonk where patrons reported being scratched, pushed, and attacked by unseen forces --- this location seemed to attract darkness like a magnet draws iron filings. The building's 45-and-a-half-year run as Bobby Mackey's came to an end on December 6, 2024, when demolition crews reduced the over-100-year-old structure to rubble. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the hauntings themselves have ended.
