So, yeah, the new Maple Leaf era is off to quite an interesting start.

Look, it's being reported everywhere.

I mean, the hockey news is all over it.

It's, that was a hell of a presser.

And again, they did hire a controversial GM.

The question is just, is this what you want?

Because seemingly, we are now existing in a time where team-friendly media is what people want.

The Lord knows it's what the teams want.

Who are we kidding?

Teams now, they want to be in the media business.

And look, you see it here too.

You know good and damn well why Jared Goff doesn't come on this show.

You know why he's put with Doug and Scott.

They're nicer than us.

And that's the team's decision. The old days wouldn't happen. So it's just again, we're an error of corporate

partnerships. Do I like them? No. No, I do not. But bottom line is reporters, which I am not,

but a reporter like Rieger is our reporter at the station. I think Rieger does a great job. He does. And you know what he gets for it? Hatred. You know what he gets for it? Threats. You know what he gets for it? The team's hating his guts. That's the problem. Rieger's a bit of a lone wolf. Or he's as a troll. Now again, Rieger can troll on the air, but Rieger when he's down there as a reporter, I think he asks really good questions. He asks questions sometimes that I give him. He'll ask me, hey, anything you need. And Rieger is, I think Rieger's one of those valuable people at the the station. I love Jeff. And I know he can be annoying. And I know I do want to take a chair to his spine sometimes. But my point is, I don't know that the fans want it anymore. And you know what, Jeff? That's for you right there because it's true.
