Much, much, much later in the day that I expected, it has been another one of those days.

I was explaining to somebody earlier.

From the moment that I pulled into the driveway, coming home from vacation, you guys are well aware of that.

Took a vacation to South Florida.

I had a great time with the wife and a couple of

kids dropped my wife off at the airport around 5 30 in the morning atlanta hot-teled it back to

starkville and ever since that moment i feel like i've been on telephone i've either been on the phone

i've been sleeping or i've taken some time for this and so i had to kind of wait for everybody else to go to bed before I could record the show. I've been trying to do it all day.

Zoom call here, conference call there, text messages here. Phone won't stop ringing. So here we are.

So I apologize, but I wanted to wait until we had something a little more concrete to talk to you guys about. And some big things may be in store for Mississippi State Athletics here in the next 24 to 48 hours. We're going to talk about all that today. We're going to talk about that bad basketball game, too, a bad loss for the men's team tonight against the University of Georgia. And that's what kept happening too.

I was like, well, you know, I'll just wait and go right after the game. Well, then everybody else gets done with dinner. And I'm not complaining. I love my job. But the reality of it is,

is when these things are going on, when there is a new cycle like this, if things are beginning

to wind down, it is very labor intensive. So I apologize.

Many of you will be listening to the show on Thursday rather than Wednesday. So we're going to apologize.

But once we get down with all this stuff, we'll be able to get back to a regular schedule.

And I am eager to get back to a regular schedule, back to a regular routine. It's always

hard coming back from vacation to kind of get back in the flow anyway. When you got people

calling and texting you all the time, it's easy to get distracted. So that's where we are.

Thank our good friends, the Bulldog Burger Company. I love Bulldog Burger Company. My son, Ian, works there. There's a good chance if you eat there that he is going to be the person to greet you and seat you. So be sure and tell him, hello. Just like that. Hello. Right? Love that kid to death, real pride of him, and he will be a Bulldog next year.

But now a Bulldog Burger crew member, and he loves it up there.

He tells me all the time how great the people are, how much he enjoys working there.
