administrators refuse a long list of demands from the Trump administration.

And now the Trump administration is reportedly investigating dozens of universities for civil rights violations.

But Harvard, despite about $2.2 billion of federal funding on the line,

says it will not give in to a long list of demands made of it. University's president said this.

It will not surrender its independence or relinquish its constitutional rights. No government,

regardless of which party is in power, should dictate what

private universities can teach, whom they can admit and hire, and which areas of study and
