What if James had just kept the invisibility cloak instead of giving it to Dumbledore?

We've been traveling and recovering and we just

really wanted to make sure we put our like best creative foot forward for this story and you know

turns out there's like a lot to think about you may have also also noticed that I am uh... not bend because on top of the rest of it he has just also been sick this week so we asked if I could fill in which of course I was glad to do but anyways

thank you guys so much for waiting for a part three here, so let's just dive on in.

Because goodness, who knew that if James simply had kept the invisibility cloak on the night of

Baltimore's attack, so much would have gone very differently.

As usual, you'll have the most context for the story if you've seen parts one and two, but

since, you know, it's been a couple of weeks, again, thanks for being patient.

the idea spawns from a sentiment expressed by Dumbledore to Harry in King's Cross

but the cloak I took out of vain curiosity and so it could have never worked for me as it works for you

its true owner what he means by this is unclear but given that we know the cloak

already makes others invisible we started wondering what is the added power if you're

the true owner? And we decided that if you were the true owner, it would make you unfindable,

meaning if the potters could have covered Harry inside of their

home when Baltimore attacked, he couldn't have been detected no matter how hard Baltimore looked.

But either way, Lily still would have sacrificed herself in the name of protecting

Harry.

But it means that Baltimore could not have attacked Harry as a baby and would have had to have
