Hey brother. Okay, what if Draco actually went through with killing Dumbledore on the lightning struck tower?

As it stands right now, Draco can't quite muster the necessary nerve that is required to take down Dumbledore, even though he has

reinforcements actively flooding the scene. And so he continues to stall until Snape finally steps in and

saves him from committing this true act of evil.

This is a very vital piece of the plan that Dumbledore has laid out and it's really what saves

him from ripping his soul apart.

But while Draco's soul does manage to remain intact,

and it does ultimately work out for them in the long run,

the immediate aftermath of this particular evening

is not so great for Draco and the rest of the

Malfoy family.

Voldemort's plan for Draco to kill Dumbledore in the first place is really just overall

a punishment for the failure of Lucius at the Department of Mysteries.

Baltimore basically intends for Draco to fail and then plans to kill him as a punishment.

But Draco ultimately ends up finishing the mission kind of somewhere in the middle.

He did, after all, successfully smuggled Death Eaters into Hogwarts, something that was believed to be impossible,

and Dumbledore is dead at the end of the day.

But Draco himself wasn't the one to do it and as a result he's not exactly

honored in the way you might imagine.

But the question for today is,

what if he did do it?

What if he did have the necessary nerve
