The chess whiz, the food lover, the man with a questionable fondness for a rat,

and a total seer.

Wicked.

Yeah, Ron Wiesley, Forecaster of the future.

You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it.

And yes, it is easy to miss as Ron is often joking around or being outshone by his best friend, you know, the chosen one.

Okay, sorry. Or his other best friend, the cleverest witch of the year.

Actually, I'm highly logical, which allows me to look past extraneous detail.

Ugh.

But as we have been combing page by page,

sentence by sentence through the Harry Potter series

over on our podcast through the Gryffendore, one theme has steadily been cropping up over and over and over, and that is Ron's ability to predict the future.

Because part of our goal on the podcast

is to highlight all the little bits of foreshadowing

and things you might have missed in the books.

And at first, it was just kind of a joke.

Like, Ron doesn't know it but he's actually

saying what's going to happen later in the book but at some point the joke

happened one too many times like Ron is constantly right about stuff like constantly and unknowingly

predicting the future accurately. So it got us wondering if there is perhaps

something up more to it than just some lucky guesses.
