the interest in Rogue Analytics in the Athletic Matrix this year. I'm going to be

doing some interesting things to kind of wrap up the chief's draft class as well as the draft overall and do some comparison.

So look for that in the coming weeks.

I have to give a hat tip to Joel Corey who answered some of my questions on free agents and

undrafted free agents and rookies and how that's situations being played out

right now so apparently in this actually makes a lot of sense to me. The

NFL pays players, rookies specifically at that $1,150 during the off-season program throughout training camp.

So all the rookies are getting $1,150 from the teams if they've signed a contract.

What they make during the season is based on the contract they signed.

And that money that they're getting paid right now

does not take into account anything

for what they sign for the full season.

So if they sign for $400,000, that $400,000 doesn't include the, you know, four months

lay up into, you know, getting ready for the season.

So all those rookies right now are getting money, which I found interesting.

Yeah, an operating stipend basically and whatever they got in their signing bonus and that's about it. It's Slim Pickens at the moment.
