Hey guys and welcome to the Happy RJMive you podcast.

0:22.0

I'm your host Jamie and this is the Happy Half Hour which is basically just what it says.

0:28.1

It's a half an hour guys. On this show I bring back a guess it's already been here and ask a little bit more pointed questions at them because I bring on back because you love them so much and Bianca is here today. Hey girl. Hi. Hi. It's good to be back Jamie. It's always good to be with you. You are guest number 103 back last August. So it hasn't even been a year since you've been on but I loved it so much. I like to say I'm like chocolate molting cake. Come on. You can't stop.

0:58.1

You think for a second I just want one bite. And then nope we need more. Come back. That's right. That's right. Okay. Let me just tell our listeners this real quick before we jump in because this episode is the end of May. This is actually the last happy half hour. We're not doing it in the summer. Today's also one of my kids birthday. Happy birthday to my son Amos. He's turning 12 today. 12. How old are you. Do you call them stepchildren? I didn't want to be.

1:28.1

I like them. They're totally my kids. What I don't know. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. How are you kids? 11 and 13 Parker who is the boy and a microcosm of his father's 13 and Ryan who's not my biological daughter but God has a funny sense of humor. She's 11 years old going on 35. It's like I birthed this child. Like this girl is my twin and she's a needy and demanding and sweet and emotional and unstable and she's just like me. You know, I've got a mini chocolate molting cake.

1:58.1

I was she has like a mini one lighter shade lighter shade of brown but still love it. I love it. Okay. So today's my sense birthday. Also, let me tell you guys about this because I talk about prep dish a lot on here because they just are so gracious and sponsor shows for the happy hour. But y'all summer is here. In fact, my kids get out of school next week. And I don't know about you Bianca what the summer's like. But here's one of my mini stressors of the summer. Is that I have four children and they all want to eat three meals a day. No lie. Fortunately, wow. Every day they wake up and they need breakfast.

2:28.1

They need lunch and they need dinner. And my husband has spoiled our children so much that if I said to them, Hey, we're all making sandwiches today for lunch. They'd be like, what? We're not cooking lunch. They're so weird. But anyhow, prep dish is going to help you guys up. They're going to do a 21 day meal prep challenge. So if you've been wanting to try prep dish. Now is your chance because they have found what we already know to be true that one of the biggest obstacles with meal prep is simply getting started. So they had this challenge. It's fun. It's going to motivate you and encourage you when the challenge starts which starts on June 3rd. You're going to get an

2:58.1

easy to follow guide for prepping all of your meals. Guys, they're going to tell you how to prep breakfast lunch and dinner for 21 days. Thank you, Jesus from up above. Plus snacks. They're going to throw in some goodies. It's a great way to find out. Do I want to do prep dish and it's a great jump start into summer. So go to prep dish.com slash happy hour 21. That's prep dish.com slash happy hour 21. It starts June 3rd. Okay, Bianca. What's new since I talked to you last August. You know what so much has changed so many things are crazy.

3:28.1

It is all good and I'm incredible great. I'm grateful and I'm you know gracious to those who listen online and are tuning back in again. It's I feel like we're friends. Many of them have hollered on Instagram or Facebook or Twitter. And I just feel like if you're a front Jamie. I've he's your friend of mine. So there you go. Yeah. So I would say in the last six months, I've transitioned out of my job. And I'm in a new season of life, which feels exciting and also scary. And this is literally like we could talk about like great faith is needed.

3:58.1

Or we got to walk on water. We have to part the red seat. But then actually you're like face to face with it. And you're like, oh Jesus show up. Lord show up in this fire or I might need a weave. Right. And he's good. He's really good. And he's been really he's been totally with us the entire time. I'm just really excited to focus in a new direction. I feel like the last six years serving under Nick and Christine Kane at 821 and propel women was such a blast. We had such a great time. And then I also feel like it's just a transition to

4:28.1

doing something that I know the Lord's been putting on my heart. So I'm excited. Okay. What is it? Or can you talk about it? Yeah, totally totally. And you know, this is the first time I publicly talking about it with like the over vision, the overall vision. So I'm really excited Jamie. Thank you for this. Yeah. Yeah. So a couple of things. I grew up and I shared a little bit about a little bit of this on the show. But I never really felt I've kind of felt like an outsider growing up. Never really feeling like I fit in or found my place or any of that.

4:58.1

And that kind of doubled into my 20s. I never really felt like I had a seat at the proverbial table. Then I decided, you know, why not be the person that I wish I would have had. And so we are launching into an amazing season with an internship program. And we're calling it an internship program, but it's actually very more than do a mentor mentoring program where we had applicants from across the United States and even a couple from Canada applied us than the summer with us. And so we're going to point into their lives and talking to them and helping them develop a sense of purpose. And I think that's the most important thing to do.

5:28.1

We're going to take them down to Canada, but then also like a back end side of ministry. And so we're going to take them down to Mexico to meet with a great church down there. Take them up north and California, go see a women's events, do leadership development with them. And then we are also launching a prison initiative where we want to get books specifically play with fire because they a lot of inmates don't know that they want Jesus. So this is our covert way. They're asking for narratives. They really want narratives. And so why not get that?

5:58.1

Give them a Christian narrative of transformation and redemption through Jesus Christ in the form of a story. So we want to put play with fire in the hands of any prisoner that wants it in the state of California in Texas. Lord willing across the nation. And we're super, super excited about that. Those are like the two big things that we're focusing on now. But can I come be an intern of yours? Yeah. Bring your whole family. It's adorable. And Aaron could cook for me the way he cooks for you. Yes. It's all working out. Yes. Oh, that would be so fabulous.

6:28.1

Okay, that sounds amazing. And I have been following your journey and watching you do videos about prison ministry. And you know, it's dear to my heart because I go to our local jail here every Tuesday. And I'm just I cannot wait to see what God does through your words and your ministry to those ladies. Now how can you set California and Texas? Well, you know, it's interesting. I don't know what it is, but people in Texas love me. Maybe it's my big hair. Maybe I don't lie you. Maybe it's because Tex Max food. And so I think the best thing is that I'm going to do is to get a little bit of a good job. I'm going to do a little bit of a good job of doing this. I'm going to do a little bit of a good job of doing this. I'm going to do a little bit of a good job of doing this. I'm going to do a little bit of a good job of doing this. I'm going to do a little bit of a good job

6:58.1

of giving us both a Mexican and Texas. I don't know. But you know, God has just been opening up some crazy doors. We got to connect with I mean, I was speaking at a church in emerald. And then the guy that was our host happened to be the Chaplain for every prison in Texas. I mean. No light, so random, so, so sovereign, like just so god, you know, where all of us, we start talking and he's like, wait, you do this. I said wait, you do that. And we connected. NK

7:28.1

And he's just like, you know, I'm going to connect you with the Chaplain overseas, the

7:31.9

women's prisons here in Texas.

7:33.7

And then, you know, I guess there was a Chaplain from a prison in Lubbock that happened to

7:40.1

watch If Gathering.

7:41.1

And he, apparently, people in prison think I'm awesome.

7:43.7

I resonate with him.
