The Michael Barry show today is Loretta, Marzella, Barry's, 78th birthday.

I called a wisher this morning. She said, did you ever think I'd get that old?

I said, well, it'd be so alternative.

My dad's 83. Their age, she said, you know how old am?

I said, yeah, you're 78, dad's 83. But their ages are easy because I'm a numbers guy.

And I think in terms numbers have meaning, I visualize numbers. So dad's 1940 ends in a zero.

She's 1945 ends in a five. Just, I don't know, goofy stuff like that matters to me. Prime numbers,

even numbers, odd numbers, numbers divisible by three, six or nine, which are easy to figure out.

Whatever. So anyway, if your mama's still alive, it might not be her 78th birthday,

but give her a call. Tell her you love her. I remember one of my favorite Shirley Q. Lickers of all time

was Shirley Q. Lickers loves my mama in real life loves my mama. And Shirley Q. Lickers at all,

she's done episode after episode on my mom. But I think this one's my favorite one.

Excuse me, Shirley Q. I saw old lady on the news that everybody stand up when she walked in the

door. Is she the head of the nursing home? You mean what? We was just watching?

Uh-huh. Oh, God, my two, so you is just literally ignorant. I need me a cocktail for the

unit. That was the queen of England girl. Yes, she 90 something. Yes, oh, she older than normal is.

And, uh, do you heard that? Uh-huh. Who do I always think? Do it by? Oh, I don't know,

I don't know, Polly. Oh, God. I don't know why I was worried about that said next to a

label lady. Well, her name is Mrs. Dorming Dormond or something like that. That's her dog. Yes,

uh, what's the one that name is Samantha and the other one is Ms. Rosa. I like Ms. Rosa because she

old and crippled up and stuff. She don't bother nobody. She ain't got time for nothing. She's

staying asleep. But Mrs. Samantha, she got her talk to you. Did you ever meet Samantha? I play with her.
