Hey everybody Ted Forbes here and welcome back to the art of photography.

Today is a very special day because Harold Feinstein turns 84 which is amazing and if you're

familiar with Harold and his work and this enormous long body of work and career that he's put together over the years

I think it's an amazing achievement all the stuff he's done and the fact that he's 84 today I think is really special and I

want to do this video is a little bit of a birthday card for Harold so what I

want you guys to do while you're watching this is leave a comment below and

what I'm gonna do is later today I'm going to

send this link over to Harold and his wife Judith and I want them to watch this and

I gave her a heads up that we were working on this so she knows it's coming. So he's going to

see this and I want this to be kind of a

happy birthday and just kind of a special thing for Harold because he's an amazing

person to me and I've got some notes here that I want to go through and talk

about a couple of the ways he's impacted me, my

photography, my life, just in this last year and I hope that you guys and I'm being

very serious when I say this, this has been really an amazing opportunity and I think or I really hope

that you guys as photographers all have that opportunity as well to find somebody that you

look up to in this way and be able to spend some kind of time and develop

a relationship with them that is extra special too because it's just the learning that I've got

just not only as a photographer but just as a person has been just outstanding.

And Harold is amazing.

How this all started, just to give you a brief overview, is about, oh probably about 8, 10 months ago. I got an email one day from a gentleman named Max Shank.

And Max I've become friends with since. He's a wonderful guy and he's in this great
