Summary

Like many of us, Hannah Bronfman's most valuable college experience came from outside the classroom. Bronfman successfully pivoted from being a sculpture major to becoming fashion's favorite DJ and wellness master. Hi everyone! I'm Hillary Kerr and this is Second Life, a podcast spotlighting women who

0:11.4

have truly inspiring careers. We're talking about their work journeys, but they've learned

0:16.7

from the process of setting aside their doubts or fears and what happens when they embark

0:22.0

on their second life. Today, I am so thrilled to have one of the most inspiring young women

0:28.7

on Instagram on the podcast, the one and only Hannah Bronfman. She's the founder of HB Fit,

0:35.3

which is a health, fitness and beauty destination, and she just authored her first book, Do What

0:41.6

Feels Good, which is available on Bookshelves now, and I highly recommend you get a copy because

0:46.4

I have a copy and I love it. You can call her a wellness expert and influencer because

0:51.8

I personally consider her one. And Adidas does too, which is why she's also the brand's

0:56.9

global ambassador. But before she started her own fitness and clean living lifestyle movement,

1:17.6

beauty of it. Now, on Second Life, it's Hannah Bronfman. With this part, we always like to start at

1:25.0

the beginning. So let's take it all the way back. What did you study in school and what

1:30.1

did you think you wanted to be when you grew up? So funny enough, I actually studied Fine Art

1:36.0

in college. Really? And I was a sculpture major. And I always...

1:40.8

What, you can major in sculpture? Yeah. Well, I went to a really particular liberal arts

1:46.5

college called Bard in upstate New York. And yeah, I knew I started sculpting in high school.

1:53.2

I won a couple of awards. So I kind of knew that I wanted to go into Fine Art. And I didn't

1:57.5

necessarily know that... I mean, I knew I was good at sculpture, but I didn't know that

2:00.8

that was going to be my major discipline. And yeah, so I fully embraced it and spent four

2:08.0

years doing sculpture. And I really kind of thought when I was going to leave school, that
