Summary

A construction worker recalls two chilling encounters that shaped his early life. As a toddler, he and his pregnant mother were haunted by the spirit of a woman who had died on their hand-me-down mattress—both experiencing identical dreams of being urged to jump from a window. Years later, during a time of family turmoil, he came face-to-face with a terrifying shadow figure that left him paralyzed in bed. With the help of his agnostic uncle, he later learned to lucid dream as a form of protection. These aren’t just stories—they’re memories that never faded.

And one thing that, everything that we had was basically hand-me-down from most of the clothes that I had at the time to the bed that me and my dad and my mom shared.

It was also a hand-me-down.

1:32.3

One thing that our family members forgot to tell us about, which would have really been nice,

1:38.3

was that the bed that we were sleeping on was a hand-me-down from a lady who used to live in one of the apartments. And

1:47.5

the reason she didn't need the mattress anymore was because she died on it. And, you know,
