Music Halloween stories, the Gorbils Vampire. In 1954, children armed with makeshift weapons, stormed Glasgow's necropolis, claiming they were hunting a vampire that had been killing boys in the Gorbals District. Now, it sounds like the stuff of

urban myth, doesn't it? But actually, this really happened. Police reports, news articles,

and witness statements all confirm that hundreds of

children filled the graveyard that night. They said the creature had iron teeth and eyes that glowed

red in the dark. But what if that wasn't the beginning of the story? What if the vampire didn't die that night at all?

So, let's settle in.

Turn off the lights.

Let your candle flicker and listen closely.

Because this is the story of Isla McRae,

the folklorist who went searching for the truth behind the Gorbill's vampire and found far more than she bargained for.
