Trump's vice presidential pick will address the Republican National Convention tonight.

I'm Elizabeth Mitchell and this is the Daily Signal the Republican National Convention which started Monday and ends tomorrow.

Tyler O'Neill is on the ground in Milwaukee with the Daily Signal team and he joins us now.

Tyler, what were some highlights of last meeting? with the Daily Signal team and he joins us now.

Tyler, what were some highlights of last night's speeches?

Yeah, it's great to be here, Elizabeth.

So last night's speeches, we had a really interesting surprise appearance by

Nicki Haley who came and endorsed Trump there on the floor. None of us were expecting that, and I thought

it was a really big surprise.

I thought Nicky Haley did a good job,

but the audience was not necessarily on her side.

So she definitely got a few booze,

but she said what she needed to, and she moved on.

And there were other Trump rivals,

you know, former rivals who came and spoke.

One of them was obviously Ron Desantis and Vivek Ramaswami.

And Vivek Ramaswami, and Vivek did a really excellent job delivering a very important message to black Americans,

to young Americans, and to immigrants.

I thought VEAC was really powerful when he said, you know, for black Americans,

we want for you the same things we want for every other American, which is good housing, good opportunities, and a justice

system that treats everyone the same regardless of your race and regardless of your political affiliation, which I thought was a really really powerful line.
