Hello, we're here today to talk about some games. I've got an

exciting topic, but an even more exciting panel. My good friends, Andrew and Daryl, how are you

both doing? Oh, I'm fantastic, Rich. Thank you for having me. Thank you for being had, good sir.

My question is, is if you miss the moon, it's going to take you like thousands of years to reach that star.

Is it still worth it?

Oh, yeah, 1,000 percent.

Time is, you just have to be a little patient, people.

Sometimes things take a couple

thousands of years uh and uh you know that's okay and it doesn't matter if you reach the star

in a conscious or a live state just so long as you reach that star yeah we're all in a uh what is

that called uh roku's basicalists, I don't know,

Roku is a streaming service, not the, not the thing where the sinister AI has punished all the people

by putting them into a simulation. On that note, what we're going to be talking about today is going to be the evolution of our feelings

about various IP genres and games that we've long been a fan of.

But first, before we dig into that stuff, we're going to talk about some video games.

And folks, I'm going to go ahead and just immediately steal the mic here to talk about

Chained Echoes, which I think is a pretty dumb name for an absolutely amazing game.

Chained Echoes is a love letter to chrono trigger and these kind, like a very

particular type of old school JRP, which is not not really a game that I enjoyed at the time.

Like I'm not a big chrono trigger person. I did not, I don't have the nostalgia for that.
