You know, I had some people take exception to, actually a couple things last week we talked about.

One was the thing we're talking about with my comments about police officers, and that's not

who I would recommend you go to for advice on guns or about the law.

The other was a comment I made about, you know, when you're trying to pick somebody who is a politician or candidate on a self-defense, I'm not self-defense, a Second Amendment issue, and you're saying, okay, the Second Amendment's what's important to me. I made the comment that, look, you've got to let everything else go. If you're really going to be about the Second Amendment, and I said, I don't care how they feel about gay rights, homosexuality, abortion, global warming, pick your, whatever the topic is, I don't care. If you're going to be about winning on the Second Amendment, you've got to let all that go. And there are people who say, well, you know, if somebody doesn't believe in X, then I just can't vote for them.

Well, okay, that's your choice.

But now you're not full scale working for the Second Amendment.

I just read a line on a forum that was really good.

And this guy, let me read it to you.

It stands by itself.

He says, too many people confuse rights with morality.

I'm certain that everyone here wants to live in a moral society.

But if you're going to live in a free society,

you have to be willing to let other people corrupt themselves.

Give that some thought.
