I am Tom Gresham. I'm your host and boy do we ever have things to talk about today.

We have, oh, so many things to talk about. The best I saw online yesterday. Somebody we were talking about the

McDonald case. We're going to get the decision from the Supreme Court tomorrow

on the McDonald case, this is the case which

challenged the Chicago gun ban.

This is a follow-on to the Heller case, which we got two years ago, which established that the Second Amendment is in fact an individual right in the U.S.

So what we have is the McDonnell case, what it can do, among a number of things it can do, is it can and I'm sure will say that the Second Amendment applies to states and cities, that is, states and cities cannot...

They must honor the Second Amendment.

Now, what does that mean? How much will they be able to restrict it? We don't know all of that.

But there are other things going on... how much will they be able to restrict it? We don't know all of that.

But there are other things going on here,

and there's like an inside baseball element to this.

For people who are constitutional lawyers,

constitutional scholars are watching.

And there's this idea of everybody says, okay, yes, the Supreme Court is going to uphold

McDonnell.

They're going to uphold the Second Amendment. But are they going to do it through

the enumerated rights provision of the 14th Amendment or through the privileges and

...
