I had a bit of an unusual upbringing.

I got to hang around with my dad, who was a shooting writer, a gun a hunting writer an outdoor writer a fishing writer

television personality we always had guns around we always were shooting guns

pretty much had my choice. And I learned a lot about

guns as a result. I mean, I almost learned to read by reading Gun Digest and devouring that annual publication back when it was edited by

John Amber, who did such a fabulous job with it.

So just a lot of memories, of course we all have memories of our fathers, most of them good I hope.
