If you've ever been to Paris, you've probably taken the metro before, or at the very least,

you've walked by one of those iconic metro entrances. You know which ones I mean, those

ornate green ones that look like they're out of a jungle or something. Well, did you know

that those metro entrances were made by an architect who was at one point

the darling of the world's Art Nouveau movement, and the next point was out of fashion,

out of date? His work was torn down, and his name was largely forgotten.

But not anymore. There's been a serious revival in the work of this architect

and you can find his stuff in museums across Paris and the US.

You can even find replica metro entrances around the world.
