Guided meditation for a super fast, deep sleep, welcome, I'm Lauren.

0:18.5

In this practice, we are going to focus on a straight forward, count down a straight

0:28.7

forward progressive muscular relaxation, calming the body, bringing a sense of quiet to the

0:41.4

body in preparation for sleep and to support your sleep.

0:52.0

Before we start, select a space, a safe, secure space, dress in comfy clothing and when

1:05.5

you're ready, we will begin.

1:11.5

Sit down or lie down comfortably and we will begin.

1:22.7

Begin by moving your body around, whether you are in bed or comfortably seated in a chair.

1:38.0

Move around, gradually in order to align yourself, straighten your spine, lengthen your

1:50.7

neck, draw your shoulders back, palms up, find that comfortable position as much as you can.

2:09.8

Your eyes are closed, focus upon your passion of breathing. It doesn't matter how you breathe,

2:26.5

the passion does not matter, simply observe your breathing as the wishes rather than the one doing the

2:44.1

breathing. Brought in your chest, soften your throat and be the noticeer of your breathing, if you

3:03.0

can lengthen the breath. If it is not suitable at this time for you to lengthen your breath, that is okay.

3:18.1

Do what suits you, do what supports who you are in this moment. If you can hold your breath

3:37.3

for a moment after the inhale and pause for a moment after the exhale. This process of inhaling

3:56.0

and holding and exhaling and pausing requires comfort. If this passion of breathing is not easily

4:12.6

accessible, possible for you, do what suits you. This practice is about you. If you like, say to yourself

4:30.3

silently, this practice is about me. This practice is about me finding time and space to be in the moment.

4:46.9

Continue to breathe and if you can breathe in, hold for a moment, breathe out, pause for a moment, breathe in, hold for a moment, breathe out, pause for a moment.

5:14.9

Brought in your chest, release your body when you consider releasing. This is not a harsh requirement. It's a soft invitation to release.

5:40.9

You are the creator here of this practice. Do what suits you. Breathe in, if it suits, pause, breathe out, if it suits.
