anymore. Correct. What's up, Laker fans? Welcome to the Laker Film Room podcast. I'm Pete, joined by

Darius. And been looking forward to this one, been several years since we could really talk about a trade

deadline without speaking in euphemism. And so this is going to be a two, probably three-part podcast where we try to give a

comprehensive guide to the trade deadline and to the trade season, which just opened on 1215,

from a Lakers perspective. And the three main pillars of that, part one is going to be today's

pod where we talk about

the Lakers big picture strategy, not just this season but beyond, sort of the five-year plan,

the end of the LeBron era and into the next one.

Then part two, we're going to go around the league and identify who the sellers are, who,

what teams are actually looking to trade their good players for our

not so good players or our future assets, and then compile a list of the players on those

teams that we would be interested in, whether they're available or not. What they'd cost isn't

really the point of that pod. Just try to get a list by the end of that pod. These are the

Lakers potential trade targets.
