So many of our listeners will know you

from your various works on discernment,

from your contributions to other kind of online media outlets,

the podcast that you yourself do like discerning hearts. But for those who don't know you, could you just say a word,

you know, who you are, where you live and just say a word you know who you are where

you live and the types of things that you're involved in?

Sure so I'm a religious priest I was ordained in 1979 and I'm an oblate of the Virgin Mary and our main work is the spiritual life not exclusively but significantly out of the Ignatian tradition.

There's obviously a very strong Marion component in what we do.

But this is really special for me for another reason because I did all of my undergraduate studies in philosophy and theology at the Angelicum.

So I had five years of Dominican professors to whom I'm eternally grateful, just wonderful men and it was a great education that I got there.

So it's nice to link again with the Dominican tradition in this way.

And I am here in Denver, living in one of our communities.

I'm here because I hold the St. Ignatius chair
