You know, there's a lot of people in the pits that are pretty smart, and they're also not

scared to tell you that they're super smart and that they and only they

have the solutions to whatever ails or riders performance and i mean whatever there's lots

of guys like that and like i said there's lots of plenty of smart guys but let me tell you there

isn't too many people in the pits there aren't too many people in the pits that are smarter than Ross Maeda.

He's been around for a long time.

One of the best suspension guys out there.

And Ross is also not scared to say, yeah, I don't really know.

Or, you know, whatever this rider wants and stuff.

I tried that, and I couldn't figure it out.

No ego with Ross Maeda, none whatsoever.

A brilliant guy.

And I've been around a long time, done a lot of things.

And I love his attitude.

He's never changed from the first time I met him when I was a privateer

and he was doing some suspension for us to win.

I became a factory Yamaha guy and he was still around a lot because we ran KYB suspension.

Always a guy to make a joke and laugh and never take himself or the sport too seriously.

But all the while, meantime, in the back, just one of the key guys in the sport through all the different transitional years of great riders.

He's been there in the background, providing support, providing information,
