Today's guest is Team San Juan Well, Band of Mission Indians, Yamaha team manager, Larry Brooks.

Larry is a guy I know well as he was my manager at Chaparral in 1999 and one of the best

managers in the sport, as you'll soon find out why. He's managed Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed,

and Team Red Bull KTM to wins in every

class at AMA Supercross and Motorcross. And if you're on his team, then you're one of his guys

and he gets incredible loyalty from almost all of his former employees and riders. Larry also

raised professionally for like forever. He was a mini-cycle prodigy and came through the ranks to have a pretty

good pro career. He earning number 14 in the 1987 season. He also was responsible of some of the

horrific crashes that will forever be burned into those crash DVDs forever. Who can forget is

tumbled down the LA Coliseum Parasile, where he clipped his bars and went through the air or his disastrous

endo at Houston in 1988 when he had Ross Pedersen right behind him. I'm sure he doesn't want to hear

about that in an intro, but that's two things I forgot to ask him about, so I thought I'd bring it up now.
