And hello, everyone. My name is Jonathan Dorembush and this is podcast beyond IGN's weekly

PlayStation show covering all the latest in the world of PlayStation, whether it be new releases,

new games, the hottest new rumors, and anecdotes about my dog because I have one of those coming

up. But before we get there, I'm joined this week by Brian Altano. You have an anecdote coming

up or a dog coming up because I need to be prepared. I mean, I'd love if Loki would just

come into the room on command at that point, but he's a little too independent for that.

It is a PlayStation related dog anecdote, but we're also joined this week by Matt Kim as well.

Hello, hello, happy to be back. Hello, happy to see you both. No, I did. It was a realization

that my girlfriend and I had this morning that I just felt I had to share out on a PlayStation

podcast. So our dog, when we're on our couch, our dog loves to cuddle with us. Like he does

not like to be alone. He just has to be sitting with us. And what he's now learned to do is when

he hears the noise of the PS5 turning on, if he isn't another room, he rushes in because

he knows we are sitting on the couch with him. Like it is now something he has Pavlovianly

trained to do. I was about to say Pavlov's PlayStation. That's very interesting. He hears

the beep and runs in. That's amazing. Yeah. So like if he's in another room and he knows

we're not in that room, he'll and he doesn't hear anything. He will give it a couple minutes

because he's like, maybe they haven't settled. Maybe they're not ready for me. I won't

come in just yet. But if he hears that PS5, like he, he will skitter across the wood floor

and rush to us because he knows, oh, it's time for me to sit down for at least probably

an hour. So thank you PlayStation for training my dog to know when it's cut.

It's amazing. Yeah. It's a really great bonus feature of the latest PS5 firmware update

that I appreciated them adding. But before we get to any other PlayStation news for the PS5,
