Summary

I grew up with a Disney family. We were lucky enough to travel to Walt Disney World just about every year, and we visited Disneyland a few times during my childhood. My family not only instilled in me a love for Disney but also encouraged me to pursue my dream of becoming a Cast Member. They also continue to support Imagineer Podcast. Growing up in the 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's going to Disney, my family and I have so many memories to share about our Disney vacations, and we're looking forward to continuing our Disney traditions together with our own children. In this episode, I chat with my wife (Joanna), my sister (Michelle), and my cousins (Michael and Brian) about our Disney family memories. We share what it was like to be 80's/90's kids growing up during the Disney Decade, discuss our earliest Disney memories, and share our favorite moments at Disney over the last 30-35 years. We also dream about the future of our Disney travels, including taking our own children to the Disney Parks. 1:17.7	World's Fair, the opening of Walt Disney World, and even taking myself and my sister and my cousins
1:23.8	to visit Walt Disney World and Disneyland when we were kids.
1:32.4	So many of you reached out to me and asked if I could continue that discussion with my generation.
1:33.1	If we could talk about our Disney family memories going to the parks and watching the Disney
1:38.6	films growing up in the mid-1980s through today.
1:42.1	And so that's exactly what I did.
1:46.0	In this podcast episode, we're going to be talking about growing up with Disney during the Disney Renaissance, which I know so many
1:51.5	of you are familiar with, either because you grew up during the same time period or because
1:56.7	you might even have kids who grew up during the 80s, the 90s, or the early 2000.
2:02.2	So on the episode today, I have my sister Michelle and my cousins, Michael and Brian,
2:07.6	all of whom I went to Disney so often as a kid.
2:10.5	And even through today, our most recent Disney vacation together was just within the last year.
2:15.2	So we have a lot of Disney family memories to talk about.
2:18.3	I also brought onto the show my loving wife, Joanna, because ever since we started dating,
2:23.6	we have been going to Disney together as well.
