0:00.0	One of the most important reasons to start a garden is to cook from that garden, and
0:08.5	I will confess that when I first started gardening, that really wasn't my reason at all.
0:12.4	It was mostly just to enjoy the process of growing and cultivating plants and sort of
0:17.6	watching them grow, shaping their growth.
0:20.0	But now, as I'm here at the Epic Homestead, with the eggs and the orchard and all that,
0:25.1	it's become a big motivator, it's growing things that I love to eat and then learning
0:29.3	how to transform them into great recipes for the home.

0:37.2	Meg, how are you working your produce into your kitchen, like how extensively are you

0:43.5	Oh, very extensively, almost every day.
0:48.3	I'm somebody that's always loved cooking, but especially when I started gardening, that
0:54.0	love of cooking just grew so much and just took off.
1:00.4	And so now I'm constantly trying to get creative in the kitchen with the different things
1:06.4	that I'm growing.
1:09.4	I put out a ton of cooking content now, it's not just, it started being gardening content,
1:14.3	now it's kind of moving more towards like garden to table, because I don't know, like
1:22.0	the garden has definitely pushed me as far as like getting creative in the kitchen and
1:26.8	cooking new things and trying new things.
1:30.2	So yeah, what have you found is like a kind of like a sleeper hit that you maybe didn't
1:38.1	eat too much up before, but now that you grow it, it's really fun to work into recipes.
