Very interesting what's going on the last two days in these motion

hearings in the Brian Coburger case. Lots of motions, lots of what we would call throwing things

at the wall to hope that they stick by the defense because there's a hell of a lot of motions.

Some that this man right here, this Judge Hippler, isn't appreciating.

And he seems to be a very, very reasonable judge.

And in that way, he doesn't suffer fools very well either.

When things are thrown at him that he finds is inconsequential, no case law, no precedent to bring it up, he doesn't take that too well.

He also reduced one of the defense's witnesses.

From AT&T, the gentleman who is the AT&T expert for the defense.

I don't have his name right in front of me right now.

And he was a little bit perturbed at that, that if he's not, if he's going to call people names and make allegations,

these are very serious allegations, allegations that could cause someone to get this barred. So if it's not true, don't throw stones.

Don't throw the stones if it's not true.

So this is what the judge somewhat implied, you know,

and as I said, he's a very reasonable guy.

But what they're setting, as you see,

the thumbnail up on the screen, the ground rules to this trial.

And, you know, we're in the first week of

April. So we're talking about there's another three months before this trial starts. So they're

setting the ground rules, but in no way will the ground rules be set immediately.
