I welcome my good colleague Gregory Copley, editor and publisher of defense and foreign affairs,

to comment on violence in several directions.

Right now, a cessation of violence or low-key violence in the Gaza Strip

because there are said to be indirect talks going on in Cairo

between principles in the so-called peace plan, the Gazan plan, the Trump plan,

offered in these last days to Hamas.

And the critical factor here is not just that the U.S. and Israel seem to be going in the same direction for resolution,

but that the Arab states have joined in. Significantly, Saudi Arabia has blessed what we know of the deal so far.

Therefore, I turn to the future.

Saudi Arabia is led by a man named Muhammad bin Salman, MBS for short.

He's the crown prince, his father's king.

He's the heir apparent of the kingdom.

He's very ambitious for his people, for his region,

and for himself. Part of that has to do with a vision he has of building Saudi Arabian cities

renewing power, even using nuclear energy. At the same time, the region is not satisfactory as he inherited it and he's looking to

change it. What does he get out of a deal between Israel and Hamas? What does he get out of Israel

accepting his cooperation going forward with investment, with development, with corridors of power, with

trade, all that will follow. What does MBS get out of it? And where is he going? Gregory, a very good
