Today I sat down with Greg Gianotti, Gio from WFAN. And I think as the podcast develops here, we're talking Mets baseball, but this is, this is not just Mets baseball,

this is a Mets fan podcast.

And as a Mets fan, the first thing I do every morning, I wake up and I put on Boomer and GEO,

and I listen to those guys talk about the Mets and everything else going on in New York sports.

So to me, WFAN and the New York Mets are forever intertwined and, you know, for the longest

time, literally as they were on the station. But even now, as they're on a different channel,

it's still tons of Mets fan personalities over there on that station. And to me, I can't even

separate the two. So we had G-O- win. We did talk a little bit of Mets,

but honestly, this was much more about him and his life as a host over at WFAN. We got some

breaking news about the Jets as we recorded. We discussed the lottery because part of being a Mets fan

is also just the entire sports culture surrounding it.

So as we're all rooting for Zion and we're dealing with Jets uncertainty,

we're doing that all while we watch the Mets.

So, you know, we'll get back to our baseball talk for sure.

There's plenty to discuss.

But I thought it was a super interesting conversation.

We chopped it up for well over an hour.

So anybody who's been a diehard Mets fan and grew up with the New York sports culture

surrounding it, you know WFAN, you love WFAN, and you got Gio who's got one of the most

interesting tales of all having to replace Craig Carton,

now feuding with Mike Francesa and being one of the Mets fan voices over there at the biggest sports radio station, you know, maybe ever.
