The day these players have been waiting for has finally arrived the dream to play

professionally remained strong even when they were met with adversity at

almost every turn.

Talking to many of the players, they know the history,

they know what it took to get here and they honor that,

but now they just want to play hockey.

They just want people to talk about hockey,

with a sellout crowd and many, many more watching in Canada and the USA.

I would say the fans are ready for some hockey and it is Toronto and New York who are playing the inaugural match of the

PWA challenge we welcome you back inside the Madem The fans are ready for more hockey and the ladies have been ready to deliver it so

far as the professional women's hockey league is off to a great start in 2024.

The nascent league has been attracting eyes and dazzling with this play early on,

proving that there's room in North America for women to take the ice.

But this is the fourth swing at establishing a pro-women's league this century,

and the question is, what makes the Pwh H.L different from its predecessors.
