Correspondent of Federalist. And joining me today on this version of Federalist Lobster

Hour is Steve Molloy, a lawyer and senior fellow with the Energy and Environmental Legal

Institute who served as an EPA Transition Official under President Donald Trump has decades

of experience with agency litigation and regulatory science. And Jerry Lehman, a commercial

fishing boat captain who sails of New Bedford, Massachusetts with more than 20 years off of

water experience and comes from a fishing family. Thank you for joining me.

It's great to be here. So everyone's seen these pictures up and down the entire East Coast.

There's something going on with the whales. Whales are washing up a shore, they're dying,

and now there seems to be this kind of blame game playing out among the federal government

and then local communities and environmentalists are saying it's because of the fishing

captains and the fishing boats and the fishing equipment. And then of course there's also

these charges of soon our bombing, the ocean floor, where companies and regulators that

are serving coastal communities for wind turbines are interfering with how whales can communicate.

And of course it's leading them to wash the shore. So Steve I want to start with you just

because you come from a regulatory background having worked in government. What is actually

going on? Well I think what we're seeing is the implementation of the Biden climate agenda.

We've got the wind industry wants to erect offshore wind turbines and this is going to

radically change the ocean environment and there's going to be some harm. And right now the

Biden administration is trying to cover up that harm by blaming fishermen for harms

their causing like the whales. So we've seen this in the Gulf of Maine with a lot of

fishermen. We've seen this off coast of New Jersey with all the whales that are washing off shore.
