The Greek Prime Minister, Kidiakos Mitsutakis, has hailed a political earthquake with

his party on course to win the general election, but it's likely to fall just short of an

outright majority.

The Ukrainian army says it's advancing on the flanks of Bakmut, a day after Russia claimed

it had finally captured the city.

A spaceship carrying Saudi Arabia's first woman astronaut, destined for the International

Space Station, has taken off from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

Also in this podcast, a broken guitar belonging to a lead singer of an American rock band

sells for nearly $600,000.

We begin in Greece, where the centre-right party of the country's incumbent Prime Minister,

Kidiakos Mitsutakis, has claimed victory in Sunday's elections.

With more than three quarters of the votes counted, his new democracy party has more than

41% of the ballot's cost.

Twice that of the nearest rival, the leftist Sirissa Party.

Mr Mitsutakis said the results showed Greece wanted a government of one party.

Without a doubt, the political earthquake that has occurred calls on all of us to speed

up the process for a definitive governmental solution in the country, so that it has an

experienced hand at the helm as soon as possible.
