Angie is throwing a party for everyone and invites Monica despite her repeating the rumor about her husband. Meanwhile Meredith gets snubbed from the invite list. Mary finds out that her son (who lives with her) has been married for over a year in a very bizarre conversation. At Greek Easter, Angie K pulls Monica aside to talk about the rumor. While Monica took it too far by telling not only Angie about the rumor but also Lisa and other members of the group, Angie seems to place all of the blame on Monica for the rumor and all Monica did was relay it. Its a classic Meredith move as well, reference a rumor, don't say what it is, and let someone else drop the bomb. Shit hits the fan when Monicas mom, Linda, LD for short... interjects in one of the weirder moves we've seen on a housewives show. She attempts to play referee and instead of staying neutral or taking Monica's side, she takes Angie's side and subsequently embarrasses her daughter in front of the entire party. While some may feel that Monica shouldn't speak to her mom that way, what we saw was a narcissistic mother attempting to gaslight her own daughter to look better on TV.
